Maria Catharina Linnemann (* 1947 in Amsterdam) is a British composer who mainly composed and edited works for classical guitar (especially for Ricordi). Maria Linnemann spent her childhood in England. From 1966 to 1970 she studied piano, violin and conducting at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She has lived in Germany since 1971, where she works as a music teacher. She also writes musicals as well as music for puppet shows.
